This is available for sale. Tram model XL-100 all tube type mobile 23 channel AM only plate modulated 3 piece CB radio. One of my personal favorites. This 3 piece radio consist's of the main control-head chassis, power supply / modulator, and external speaker. Neither the radio or power supply has a built-in speaker so either the factory or some other external speaker must be used. The control head is pretty light because it doesn't carry the heavy power supply or modulator stuff. The units have a 5ft cord between them and normally the PS would be permanently mounted in the vehicle. Tram also made an extremely rare BASE power supply for these. This and the Browning Raven where advertised to have 80+ db rejection. Tests show that both have around 75 which is better rejection than the base units, however, neither sounds as smooth and sweet as the tube big bases do. Excellent TX with plate modulation. It does sound exactly like a Tram Titan on TX. Many can't believe I'm mobile when talking on this (and the Raven too). A very fun to play with radio and a very serious performer.
