R2cares Sponsored Spring Break Tournament The R2cares Spring Break Tournament was more than just a competition on the field—it was an opportunity to grow as leaders and individuals. As part of our sponsorship, teams were encouraged to participate in an Authentic Leadership Presentation, which served as the foundation for covering their entry fees into the Lake Region Tournament during spring break. Beyond the game, we asked athletes to reflect on a moment of vulnerability—a time when they faced a challenge, setback, or difficult decision—and share how they responded. By opening the door to these conversations, our goal was to help student-athletes build resilience, foster empathy, and strengthen their leadership skills both on and off the field. R2cares believes in the power of sports to create meaningful connections and life lessons. Through this initiative, we are committed to encouraging tough but necessary conversations, breaking down stigmas, and ensuring athletes know they have access to resources and support whenever they need it.
