There is no better comfort food than warm, freshly fried, sugar coated doughnut filled with homemade jam! Yummy! Doughnuts are made of enriched yeast dough. After bulk fermentation, they are rolled with a rolling pin and cut into doughnut shapes. You can use doughnut cutter, or if you don’t have one, simply find two different size glasses. The rings are left to ferment and fried in deep oil afterwards. As soon as they are done, doughnuts are sprinkled with powdered sugar, or glazed with sugar glaze or chocolate glaze.
