The exterior design of the car is made in a completely new concept, unlike other Maxus products. The front end has a trapezoidal grille set low enough. From above it is completely closed, which initially hinted at the future electrification of the model. Actually, expectations were justified, and the Chinese electric car of 2021 turned out to be cool. Speaking of the exterior, one cannot but pay attention to the narrow headlights located just below the edge of the bonnet. They are equipped with LED technology and are interconnected by an LED strip in the style of the latest Volkswagen Polo and Golf models. The side profile is highlighted with several angular lines, so it cannot be called “clean”. Instead of rear-view mirrors, an electric car from China uses compact cameras. The dark roof of the concept car harmoniously contrasts with the blue color of the body. At the rear, Y-shaped lights and an upward-opening tailgate can be noted. In general, we can say that the appearance of the Mifa turned out to be quite modern. Inside, the new 2021 Chinese electric car looks even more technologically advanced. But we know that in the production version, everything will be significantly softened. The front panel has two displays: a small one for the digital dashboard and a massive screen that stretches from the driver's seat to the passenger. The latter will act as a monitor of the multimedia system. This approach is reminiscent of Mercedes' MBUX Hyperscreen. This arrangement of the front panel will also be transferred to the production version of the minivan. The Chinese model is expected to be very high tech. She will receive a huge number of different intelligent systems and driving assistants. The new battery-powered minivan is based on the modern Maxus Intelligent Flexible Architecture, its abbreviation and encrypted in the name of the novelty - Saic Maxus Mifa EV Concept. The serial electric car gets a twin-engine electric power plant, whose total output will reach 680 hp. and 900 Nm of torque. A Chinese electric car of 2021 will accelerate to a hundred in an incredible 3.8 seconds for this class of cars. Without recharging, the electric car will travel about 600 kilometers, which, of course, is customary for the Chinese, calculated according to the NEDC cycle. At the same time, the automaker promises to increase the range of the new model to 800 km, so 600 km of real mileage can still be expected in the future from the top-end configuration.
