Baja Design vs Diode Dynamics - Fog lights comparison With the camera exposure settings being manual, I am able to show you the accurate difference between the two lights, brightness, range, and color temperature too. Spoiler alert: Diode Dynamics fog lights has better cut off, so it is definitely more suitable for on-road usage. However, due to the better cut off, any area outside of the beam pattern will not be lit at all so it may not be ideal for offroad usage. Meanwhile, Baja Designs Squadron Sport Wide cornering has decent focus and not too sharp of a cut off, it allows light to spill outside of the focused pattern and therefore, illuminates adjacent areas better, which makes it more ideal for offroad usage. Both lights has their place, it all comes down to what your needs are. Also, I throw in some footages of my ditch lights (rigid d-ss pro driving pattern) and big led pods (Auxbeam 9 inch driving lights) for comparison. Side note, I understand the Baja Design Squadron has their SAE version, however it has exactly the same beam pattern with wide-cornering and is just a dimmer version of the sport or pro. Therefore, it will still produce spill/glare to the on-coming traffic. I know Baja Design just announced their new SAE lens design so I will sure be testing them out once they become available.
