In his present work, he represents GE Healthcare to several standards organizations, including Health Level 7 International • Mr. Boone was the past workgroup chair, and as a contributing member and past Board Member and committee chair in Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise • He is presently engaged in Saudi Arabia with the Ministry of Health to help establish national Health IT standards for the Ministry's expansive eHealth program. • He also represents GE to the US National program (the Standards and Interoperability Framework), and participates in the development of US national policy on Health IT Standards. • He has edited or contributed to more than two dozen International implementation guides and Health IT Standards, and is the author of The CDA™ Book • He is presently a Masters Candidate in the Clinical Informatics program at Oregon Health and Science University
