Welcome to Creative Craft Studio! 🌸 In today’s tutorial, I’ll show you how to make a beautiful frilled shoulder baby frock with a full flare skirt. This design is perfect for parties, casual wear, or special occasions. I’ll take you step by step through the cutting and stitching process so even beginners can follow along easily. Materials & Tools Needed: • 1.5 meters of soft cotton floral fabric • Matching sewing thread • Sewing machine • Scissors & measuring tape • Chalk or fabric marker • Elastic (for fitting, optional) • Pins Measurements for 3-Year Baby Girl: • Chest: 22 inches • Waist: 20 inches • Shoulder to waist: 8 inches • Full frock length: 20 inches • Armhole: 10 inches • Strap width: 1.5 inches Step-by-Step Cutting & Stitching: 1. Bodice Cutting • Fold fabric and mark chest + 2 inches for ease. • Mark shoulder width, armhole depth, and waist length. • Cut front and back bodice pieces separately. 2. Frilled Shoulder Straps • Cut two strips (length 8 inches, width 3 inches). • Fold and stitch to create frill effect. • Attach with base strap for strong shoulder support. 3. Skirt Part (Flare Cutting) • Cut a circular/umbrella shape skirt according to waist round (20 inches + 2 inches). • Length of skirt = 12 inches (waist to hem). 4. Joining Bodice & Skirt • Stitch front and back bodice at sides. • Attach skirt to bodice, making sure gathers are evenly distributed. 5. Finishing • Attach frilled straps. • Finish neckline and armholes with bias piping. • Hem the bottom with a neat folded stitch.
