This is a continuation of making Lead chromate and how making Red Lead chromate failed i added Lye (100 ml had 30 g per 500 ml Sodium hydroxide) so that around 10 g i added it turned the solution above yellow then I added a few ml of Phosphoric acid 5 ml to increase the concentration and alter the pH. The stirring and heat increased the fluffiness of the Lead chromate a bit. I will dry it and put it into a homemade desiccator. This will dry it out for use with acrylic paints to make a yellow pigment. I plan to eventually play with different acrylic paints and mica pigments. As usual Lead salts are toxic and sodium dichromate is toxic, cancer-causing, etc. Do not allow these compounds to get into your skin or eyes! Do not inhale the dust or mist of the solution. Sorry about my wobbly hands I am getting a new camera tripod the old one broke.
