That's all. Anyway all these Extra stages are DIFFICULT! Do NOT take them lightly! | For this one, it's an autoscroller and you must ride Poochy to make it through the lava sections. This is even MORE difficult if you are going to 100% this. Just so you know you don't get a reward for 100% these except for a star showing up on the title screen. | If you happened to come here before World 2 stages where you actually formerly meet Poochy and its controls explained, here is how he operates. | Stand on top of him and whichever direction Yoshi is facing, he'll run towards that direction. If he is at a wall while Yoshi is facing it, he'll jump. His jump is limited but it is high. When Yoshi isn't on him, he'll run towards Yoshi until he is near him. | That is all you need to know of Poochy for this stage. He has other functions but it doesn't matter for this stage. | Once you safely land on Poochy by Special Flower 3's location, keep Poochy from running towards the edge of the screen by repeatedly turning Yoshi to slow him down or put him in place until more of the screen is revealed. You do NOT want to slide off Poochy because of the fixed camera! | Special Flower 4's location is the real trick here for this stage because to the right of it, has a spiked ball that rotates. You must maneuver through this with Poochy. Red Coins are also positioned below the rotating spiked ball. You can jump to get it but if you have good aim, use your eggs to get them. | The last part is where you see Special Flower 5. Past that, Poochy will jump down into the lava and towards the goal. Do NOT stay on top of him. He survives lava while the Yoshi does not! | If you have good hovering skills, use that to get you towards the Goal. Otherwise wait on top of Poochy until he jumps from the wall and starts to fall down. Jump off of him and hover toward the Goal's landing. | It may have took me only 2 deaths on this run but my past experiences helped here. I died a lot on this stage as a kid long ago. There are no checkpoints so if you die, you start ALL the way over so be careful! Good luck! | | For Bonus 1's Flip Cards, you can get a 10up from Kamek's location if you get everything except his card. You keep anything you flipped if you exit early before touching Kamek's card.
