Welcome to today's on-tour! The F.X. Pichler winery is now run by the seventh generation, Lucas Franz Pichler and his wife Johanna Elisabeth. The vineyard area is approximately 18 hectares and consists primarily of steep mountain terraces dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. Ralf was fortunate enough to be able to taste the first 24 vintages and the grand vineyards with Lucas Pichler. Riesling plays just as important a role here as Grüner Veltliner. The wines all bear a personal signature, their own stylistic line. Quality is celebrated in this modern yet traditional winery.
