Why are we always looking for peace in the wrong places? Here's a daily diva to help you become a wholehearted follower of Jesus. Since the beginning of time, the human race has continued its futile. Search for peace. In the wrong places today, there is very little personal, economic, political, or social peace anywhere. Why? For in the human heart, there is seed of destruction, suspicion, violence, greed, and the reality is true. Peace will not come until Christ returns for his church. Jesus himself said, do you suppose that I came to bring peace? Jesus wasn't saying that He came to prevent peace. But he was giving us fair warning that his message would divide, knowing that true peace would only come when we shifted our focus to the source of peace. That is Jesus. He is our true shalom. And the people's response was to reject him, to hate him, to despise him, to arrest him, and then ultimately kill him. Satan does everything in his power to steer believers away from the peacemaker. Jesus Christ. He is our source of peace. But personal peace can be realized here and now. The future does not end on the world situation, however grim it might become. It depends on what each person does about Jesus Christ. These things I have spoken to you that you might have peace if you know that he is the piece that surpasses all understanding.
