Finally, I am getting up to speed again and hereby deliver to you another view from the cockpit of our Airbus A340-300. We were apporaching Cape Town FACT coming from the north-east to join the ERDAS 1A arrival for runway 01. Early during the arrival, we have been given radar vectors for a righ-hand downwind with a consecutive ILS approach. The weather was nice, just a few remains of recent rain showers and some major build-ups to be seen in the distance to the south over the south-atlantic ocean.
