Mount Baker, also known as Koma Kulshan, is an active stratovolcano in Washington State. It is the second-most thermally active volcano in the entire Cascade Range after Mount Saint Helens. This video takes you along the Railroad Grade climbing route on the southern side of the mountain which follows a razor-thin rocky moraine bordering the western flank of Easton Glacier. The panoramic views from this route are stunning and seem otherworldly. Here is a primeval world, where massive slabs of rock and ice set the rules as they relentlessly tumble evermore downwards.
