Seen here is a ride on a R160B F train with Siemens propulsion to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. I was lucky to catch this set here since it was a recent transfer from Coney Island Yard due to the fact that CBTC is being implemented on Queens Blvd. As of December 2020, all Kawasaki’s with Siemens propulsion’s now operates out of Jamaica Yard, with a few Kawasaki’s with Alstom propulsion’s operating out of Coney Island Yard. I was hoping to see this in CBTC operational status, but I guess there is still more work to be done since during along the ride, there were delays, not just because there were trains in front, but most likely the signals weren’t blinking like it usually is supposed to do. But at least I made the ride out of it. Please note: It maybe a New Year but we still have to be social distant from each other, even when on the subway or the buses. The subway will still be closed from 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. So if you’re planning on riding the subway or the bus, wash your hands from home before leaving, maintain a social distance of six feet from others, wear a mask as you head out in public, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear some gloves when adjusting. Enjoy! *UPDATE: subway service is now 24 hours as of May 17,2021. Date taken: January 6, 2021
