We, Emely and Tjark, have fulfilled our dream of owning our own sailing boat, a Maxi 84, relatively spontaneously and without the big bucks. We're taking you with us on our journey from complete beginners to hopefully passable sailors. She was proudly christened Meera. After the first winter storage with the overhaul of the underwater hull, we started our first sailing season in 2022. So join us on our journey to explore the world, starting with the Baltic Sea. As we are still real rookies, we first have to learn how to sail and what it means to be dependent on nature. Before we head out into the wide world, we still have a mountain of work ahead of us.
