Step-by-step guide on how to replace / remove rear wiper motor on Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana, Buick Terazza and Saturn Relay minivan. These are all essentially same minivans which share most of the parts ( 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | LS | LT | LTZ | SV6 ). If rear wiper is not working on these minivans, first make sure to check the fuse. Second most common thing to happen is rear wiper motor failing. It is very common on this vehicle, but luckily a very easy fix. To start, remove the rear wiper arm which is held by 13mm nut. Then remove the larger 7/8 nut just below it and remove the plastic ring attached to the glass. Once done, remove the plastic trim piece on the inside of the tailgate. To do that you will have to remove two 10mm screws on the side of the cover and two torx T27 screws holding the tailgate handle. Pop of the cover. Now you have access to rear wiper motor. Remove two 8mm screws holding the wiper motor and unplug it. You are done. After you installed new rear wiper motor and before you put everything back together, make sure to test the motor.
