Ten Toes Down Challenge "Articulating Weather or Not" CityNeff

Real shit, true story. When I was locked up I was in the hole for a month for a sanction. During this time, I couldn't talk to my girl ona phone so we would write each other. One night, I decided to write her a poem that I named "Articulating Weather or Not" (Pun). I used words, expressions, and idioms that related to 'weather' to describe her (my sunshine) and how me being in prison was like being without a voice in complete darkness. A couple months later I wrote a song about her called "Rain" on a shitty ass day we had. Swear it rained the whole day that day... I never noticed the correlation between the two titles because they were both true events that I wrote from inspiration of how I felt at that moment. Now, it's 6yrs later but shit like this is timeless. I just want to show my peoples what I made of my fucked up trails and tribulations. I know a lot of mfs who can relate.
