Whisk in the protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt as the milk is heating. Continue to whisk until all the ingredients have blended into the milk and the cocoa mixture is smooth and creamy. Once the milk is hot (you want it just below a boil), pour it into your favorite mug and enjoy it as is or with your favorite toppings. NOTES I like to use whey protein as it has a rich and creamy flavor and texture. However, any protein powder can be substituted based on your dietary needs and preferences. If adding extra sweetener, I suggest monk fruit or stevia for a sugar-free option. Honey and maple syrup also work well, but you can ultimately use any sweetener you prefer.
