2024 Land Rover Challenge. 1/10 RC Crawlers.

This was an awesome day in a beautiful location with some tricky terrain to overcome and a test of endurance for the trucks. Threadlock is your friend when you're driving for 6 hours on rocky paths. It was a lot of fun and I have to say a huge thanks to Haydn for organising the day. I decided to drive my MN999 to see how well my budget beast would keep up with the upgraded TRX4s and other pricey rigs. To be honest, I was expecting failure and it didn't start well. I'd put in a 1080 ESC the night before and hadn't had chance to test it. After 10 minutes I was at my wits end as I had so little power; even driving up a smooth slope was difficult. I reversed the motor cables and the throttle channel and all was good.
