Hi Friends, Welcome to my vlog. Am going to share my travel experience with you about my quarantine experience. I have flight from Delhi to UK on 24th April Vistara airlines. Before boarding the flight its mandate to for RTPCR test and Quarantine hotel booking. I request you all to please book the hotel in advance because i booked on 23rd April and at that time there site got crashed. So lets talk about hotel booking which cost is 1750 pound which is approx 1,80,000 in Indian currency and its a Huge amount.I was bit afraid that whether am allowed to go to UK or not as the rules are not clear because on govt website its written British citizen or who have residency proof.As on 23rd only they have added India in Red alert zone and I tried to call UK embassy but they are not sure, they asked us to contact uk govt. So i have reached the airport around 7:00 am in the morning and my flight is at 2:00pm. Its better to reach early then to be late. Vistara airline checked our all the document RTPCR and hotel booking form(CTM). After that I have cleared the Immigration , I request you all to bring physical copy of all the documents, as sometimes they asked for the hard copy as well depends on your luck. As I am vegetarian I bought some stuff from Haldiram from the airport food stuff for quarantine as i was bit worried about food. Once i boarded the flight my experience with visatra airlines is pretty good. As soon as i landed to Heathrow airport, they have managed it very well as it hardly took me 20 min to clear my immigration and they assigned a person to us who will help us to collect our baggage and for the hotel. We have waited approx half hour for the bus which will take us to our respective hotel.Once the bus arrived even then we waited more than half an hour and there no social distancing followed at that time. My hotel was Courtyard by Marriott near gattwick airport. Once we reached hotel they asked us to complete the some formalities and they give us a quick guide for SELF CRONA TEST and also they told us that everyday we can go out from our room for 15 minutes for walk which is such a big relief I must say because its sort of jail to us. Courtyard by Marriott The hotel room is preety good but there is n window for air ventilation and also they haven't provided any microwave or fridge. I requested them and then provided me a fridge after 2 days. On 2nd day we have to do our self crona test , the kit will be provided by them and we have to register ourself on nhs link and gave the sample to hotel authority, within 2 days we receive our report via sms and email and thanks to god its negative which is big relief. Now lets talk about FOOD--- As i told you earlier i am vegetarian the food provided by hotel is totally pathetic, no taste and not even its cooked properly. I called several time at reception but nobody picks,i made the complaint about the food but no result. Everyday they will give us a menu from which we have to choose for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and the options for veg is very limited. Mostly in Lunch they provide us soup which taste like yuckkk. Laundry Experience- We are allowed to give 7 clothes (per person) for laundry in one week which not chargeable. Self Corona Test Day 10- Again we have to do our self corona test and register to NHS. Time to go Home Once we will get the report on day 11th we are allowed to go to our home, for that there are two options either we can book a cab from hotel or the coach will come to hotel and will take us at Heathrow airport on Terminal 2 and Terminal 5.From there we can go to our Home.
