Some people shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a steering wheel. “Bad Drivers” is a rock song about the people who turn an ordinary commute into a survival event. In the lyrics they’re called “dumb assed drivers”—the ones glued to their phones, drunk behind the wheel, or convinced every street is a racetrack. The song follows three of them: Cell Phone Susan… Drunken Dave Duncan… Race Car Ricky… One of those characters—Drunken Dave Duncan—even has his own in-universe “sponsor”: Drunken Dave Duncan’s Magical Pumpkin – A Psilocybin Whiskey. The video is told from the perspective of the singer, who drives while performing—serving as both narrator and witness—cut against real-world imagery of accidents, unsecured loads, roadside stops, and the everyday carnage caused by careless choices. Musically, Bad Drivers leans closer to CCR or Tom Petty than metal—direct, melodic, and built to roll down the highway… while reminding you why paying attention matters. Part satire. Part warning.
