The CH180 wood chipper is an efficient and modern disc chipper, equipped with 4 blades and intended for Avant 600-800 series. It takes in dry twigs, branches and tree tops up to 180 mm diameter and makes 12 mm long chips. Material is loaded manually in the infeed chute, but the chipper is equipped with hydraulic feeding rollers and Smart Feed system which monitors rotating speed of the cutting disc. If e.g. too much wood is loaded in the infeed chute and the speed of the disc slows down considerably, the rollers reverse a bit which prevents blocking and stopping of the chipper. The adjustments of the Smart Feed system can also be programmed if necessary. Discharge chute can be rotated manually 290°, and throwing height can also be adjusted by hand. Thanks to the modular design maintenance is easy, and with the discharge chute turned into transport position the CH180 is a compact package. CH180 complies with the latest EN 13525 standard for wood chippers. It meets the criteria of the standard regarding the distance between the infeed chute and blades (min. 1500 mm), and infeed chute’s bottom must be at least 600 mm above the ground.
