Lone Star Grillz Pellet Grill Burn Off and Walk Around Review. I am certainly impressed with this 20"x42" Lone Star Grillz Pellet Grill right out of the gate. There is so much more to talk about this pit so have no fear I will be doing a lot more videos on this pellet grill! Make sure you leave me a comment if you have any questions or requests! I was very surprised how much more smoke this pit creates compared to all the other pellet grills that I have owned. The temp swings got down to around 20-30 degrees as I continued through this burn off but the Tel Tru lid thermometer barely moved unless I turned up the temp on this Lone Star Grillz Pellet Grill. My guess there is no average camber temp on this FireBoard 2 running on a time delay, I think this is reading and just reacting to the temps being read. That is AWESOME because I think it will certainly produce more of a smoky flavor on your bbq! I will place a few ambient probes in the pit down the road once this pit is broke in to see how the temp looks compared to the controller. Plus the convection looked amazing how the smoke moved throughout the chamber, it reminded me of my old offset days!
