First Ride G2 Ergonomics Throttle Tamer : Ducati Scrambler Part 2

When I bought my Desert Sled and took it for its first ride, I was slightly disappointed with the throttle response. Now I know that Ducati detuned this engine for the Scrambler, but I was still surprised at how 'soft' the throttle felt and just how much of it I had to grab if I was planning an overtake. A couple of pals have tried it now. And they too were pretty underwelmed and had expected more 'response' from a twist of the throttle. I guess it has been tuned like that for those who can actually ride their Scrambler in the desert. As a fix, I looked into a smaller front sprocket. It turned out that this would more than likely give the Sled a dashboard like a Christmas tree. So that idea had to be scrapped.
