In today's video we're visiting Marienstatt Abbey, one of the most wonderful monastery complexes I've seen so far. If you know Ben Maton - 'The Salisbury Organist' - one of the most popular organ channels at the moment - you know that he is incredibly talented in showing the atmosphere and spirit of the places he visits. Today I felt like I'm in one of this videos.. you'll see why in the beginning of this video. The abbey church houses a large Rieger organ and a smaller choir organ which are connected by one big console, reaching a total size of more than 120 stops. We're discovering the area, play the organ and will also have some fun with Widor's 6th Organ Symphony.
