In 2016, XIKAR showed off a new version of the standard double guillotine cutter that is the defacto standard way for most people to cut their cigars. The XIKAR XO has a circular metal body that houses two handles, each with a blade on the end of them. At $99.99+, it's not the most affordable cutter, but it's become a favorite for many cigar smokers. As with any idea, it was only a matter of time before someone else tried to make their own version of the cutter. Last year, Lotus introduced the Meteor cutter ($59.99), a slightly smaller version of the cutter that the company says can cut a 64 ring gauge, just like the XIKAR XO. There are some noticeable differences between the XO and Meteor.
