Given that Laenor Velaryon was married to Rhaenyra, Seasmoke and Syrax would have some sort of connection as they had been together on Dragonstone. That doesn't prove they mated, but it makes a lot of sense. It is unclear if a male dragon is even necessary for an egg to hatch or how to breed dragons.
