Mascot Horror is weird to me. I don't hate it, but I also could not care less about most of the games that fall under the genre. I had my FNAF phase as a kid, but aside from that, it's never interested me. That is, except for one game: Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. I didn't think much of it when it first came out, but over the years I've heard more and more about it, like how its creator has gone on to make some fantastic horror games, and how it's one of the "best" mascot horror games. So, earlier this year... I finally played it. Was it good? Was it scary? Is it even a mascot horror game? Short answer: Yes, a little bit, and no. Long answer: watch my video.
