Mick Jagger's girlfriend Mel Hamrick shares son Deveraux, 8, is injured and on crutches:You hurt too

The former ballerina shares her only son Deveraux with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, who has seven other children from previous relationships Melanie Hamrick is feeling all of her son's pain. The former ballerina, 37, shared a picture via Instagram Stories of her 8-year-old son Deveraux "Devi" Octavian with his left leg in a cast, as he walked with crutches. Hamrick, who shares her only son with boyfriend and musician Mick Jagger, 81, wrote that she was experiencing her son's pain as he recovers. "Nothing feels more true — When they hurt you hurt 😢," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "He'll be back playing football again in no time though !! 🥳 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️." In addition to Deveraux, Jagger is also a father to seven other kids. He welcomed his eldest child, daughter Karis, 54, with actress Marsha Hunt in 1970. In 1971, he and ex-wife Bianca Jagger welcomed Jade, 53. The 80-year-old rocker also shares daughters Elizabeth, 41, and Georgia May, 33, and sons James, 39, and Gabriel, 27, with ex-wife Jerry Hall. He is also a dad to son Lucas, 25, with Brazilian lingerie model Luciana Gimenez Morad. On Monday, April 29, Hamrick shared an adorable video of their son as he danced in the crowd at a Rolling Stones concert. In the blue-tinged video, Deveraux could be seen dancing back and forth, dropping to the ground for a split and break-dancing while his dad rocked out on stage. In October 2023, the Rolling Stones frontman spoke with The Guardian about parenting his youngest son and how his experience with fatherhood has changed over the years. "You get a bit out of practice — it's not like riding a bike," the famous rocker said of fatherhood. "The more children you have, the more laissez-faire you get about them, to be honest." "And it depends on the child. They have their own personalities and you can mold them to a certain extent, but you see their likes and dislikes and encourage them do things they gravitate towards," he added. "It's fun to have children, at any age. But if you're working, and always away, you don't get to enjoy it as much." Jagger said that when son Deveraux was born, "I wasn't working so much, so I was able to spend more time. And then we had the lockdown — he's only 6, and two of those years I did almost nothing [with the band]." *** Fair Use Disclaimer: This video is transformative and does not harm or compete with the original works.
