The incredible floral beading styles that developed around Red River are so iconic, the Metis were even known as the "flower beadwork people". Every artifact tells its own story, and we'll be visiting everything from dancing shoes, to smoking bags, to one of the oldest and most mysterious bits of beading in Winnipeg! Our Behind the Scenes Curatorial Tours let you get up-close and personal with the museum's collection. Our expert Curator, Eric, brings you behind the barriers and gives an in-depth tour of some of the most important artifacts in Manitoba's history.
