Simple: you earn PAI points by elevating your heart rate. Anything that gets your body moving and your heart pumping counts. The higher your heart rate, and the longer your heart rate is elevated, the more PAI you earn. PAI is personalized to you. Your intelligent score is calculated using your active heart rate, age, sex and resting heart rate. Every PAI point means progress toward a healthier heart. Start with a goal of 30 PAI, work up to 50 and before you know it, you will be achieving 100 PAI! Maintaining a score of 100 PAI gives you the maximum protection from heart disease and other lifestyle diseases.
