The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation. Cathedral Square is famous as the site of solemn coronation and funeral processions of all the Russian tsars, patriarchs, and Grand Dukes. Even today, the square is used in the inauguration ceremony of the President of Russia. Cathedral Square is having many prominent architecture including ANNUNCIATION CATHEDRAL, IVAN THE GREAT BELL TOWER, ARCHANGEL CATHEDRAL, ASSUMPTION CATHEDRAL,PATRIACH'S PALACE and TSAR CANNON.
