Welcome Home! by Bike & Boat - Family Life on a Narrowboat!

We are a family of four humans and two furries who travel, work, home educate, and live on our 60-foot narrowboat Bluebell, making and selling upcycled jewellery as we adventure the canals and rivers of the UK. We're just a normal family trying to make our hatchling's childhoods the most magical we can, and full of memories. Here we all are, one by one 🙌 Rich: Often found at the helm of Bluebell, or in the workshop creating something wonderful out of an old punctured inner tube or old piece of copper pipe. Nearly always wins at UNO, unless Fleur's playing! Jackie: Often out walking with Dusty and always at the helm when Rich chickens out when cruising Bluebell through long dark tunnels. Never wins at Ludo, but is quite the shot at Rummy! Bobby: Loves to play on the ukulele and go out cycling. Also likes to push his limits as often as he can on the ramps on either his skateboard or scooter. Is dangerously successful at a game of snap! Fleur: You'll never want to play Fleur at UNO as she is likely to wipe the floor with you. She's usually found making something creative or getting on with some boat chores. Whisper: Whisper is regularly found on the towpath waiting to get fuss from passersby. Once she's 'hooked' them they often come and chat to one of the hoomans about boat life and then our creations! Dusty: You'll often find Dusty expertly reversing up Bluebell's narrow gangways until he can turn. Loves nothing more than a good walk - as long as it's not too early, too cold, too far, or too wet. Loves other pooches, but is easily offended if ignored! Bluebell: Bluebell likes nothing more than basking her solar panels in the sunshine. She leads the way on our adventures.
