I also provide some useful hints and tips for maintenance. Be patient, the wisteria can take a few seasons to come into #flower but it's worth the wait. Eventually you will be rewarded with a cascading waterfall of beautiful #nectar filled #blooms which provide a food source for #polinating insects, look amazing and have a beautiful scent. Prune the wisteria twice a year. The first time prune it back to five #leaf sets, do this approximately one month after the blossom has disappeared and it has produced many #leafy #tendrils. Then in the late winter or very early spring prune the same branches back to two #buds which will encourage many #flowering #spurs. Make sure you keep a control of the size and scope of your plant because it can become leggy and take over, it is quite invasive when it gets going. #wisteriahysteria
