Statfold Barn Railway: Spectacle of Steam: 8th of March 2025

First video of 2025! Statfold Country Park, located in Tamworth, would once again open its doors to railway enthusiasts for their first of two Spectacle of Steam events, this one taking place on the 8th of March 2025. As ever with their SoS', the 2ft narrow gauge mainline would see non-stop activity with most of their fleet out in action, hauling passenger and goods trains around the circuit. There were no visitors this time around, with the main attraction being W. G. Bagnall 'Isaac's repaint into a blue livery, most definitely not for an event focused on a certain children's franchise with a blue tank engine (!) It was another great offering from the team at Statfold, but dare say a bit of personal fatigue is settling in with it becoming a bit samey (To emphasise not a criticism, just my personal feelings). Also, whilst the weather was gorgeous for March, the lighting was a bit finicky in places, which made things a tad awkward filming-wise, but I do not hold any otherworldly powers to manipulate that other than in Resolve. Due to this video’s length, it has been broken down into ‘Chapters’ where certain parts of the video have been labelled correspondingly. Here, you can choose which parts of the video you want to watch without having to search the entire feature. LS = Lineside; all shots taken from stations and vantage points. WS = Windowside; all shots taken from the droplights of passenger trains. The locomotive/s hauling it will be added too.
