Built in 1905 for his wife and 2 daughters, Harper Glendenning came from the U.S. to carve out a life on the Alberta Prairies. The house has a separate staircase and bedroom for the farmhand, two basements, nooks & crannies throughout the creaky wooden house and an amazing prairie view. The house was rented to the Clark family where they raised two boys. Then Harper's Brother Fred and his wife moved in to raise their two daughters. Followed by John McFarland and his family. The house was left vacant in the 60's but has stayed in the McFarland family. The barn has recently been moved because of vandals and teenaged parties. The house may also be moved and renovated.
