At this time Scotrail utilised six Class 117 units to cover morning and evening paek hour Fife Circle trains and one morning train to Bathgate. This video starts with 117313 departing from Kirkcaldy having worked the 06.25 from Edinburgh Waverley. The unit resides in the loop before returning to Edinburgh at 07.50. The Class 150/2 Sprinter was waiting to work the 07.33 Kirkcaldy-Edinburgh via Dunfermline. 117308 was just captured departing Kirkcaldy with the 06.15 Edinburgh-Edinburgh before we see 117306 arrive at Edinburgh Waverley with the 08.11 from Bathgate which was the only train from there not worked by a Class 150/2 Sprinter. Heading to Carlisle once more we start with 60073 which was working the 6S97 Tyne Yard-Ayr empty MGR followed by 37230 powering away with a rake of Russells coal wagons. 92008 arrives light engine from Crewe, 86622 and 86610 pass with the 4S52 Crewe Basford Hall- Coatbridge Freightliner, 60010 heads North with an empty MGR and the 09.10 Aberdeen-Plymouth Virgin Trains service is seen departing with 43197 and 43154. 47635 runs over to the stabling roads opposite platfrom 1 rady to run light engine to Mossend to work the overnight Parcelforce "Piggyback" train to Wembley, 60055 brings its loaded 7Z39 Hunterston-Milford Sidings loaded MGR to a halt at the signals before 60100 passes through with a Hunterston-Fiddlers Ferry loaded MGR, 60080 heads North light engine and 60055 departs having sat for 30 minutes to allow Leeds and Newcastle bound trains to depart ahead of it. 66053 had been at Carlisle for about three weeks for driver training and it is seen running light engine to High Wapping Sidings having run on a freight to Mossend to check a repair to its onboard computer. 43196 and an unnamed 43068 arrive with the 07.20 Plymouth-Aberdeen which contains a GNER liveried first class coach in the formation. 43068's The Red Nose nameplates had been auctioned off five days previously for the 1999 Comic Relief charity appeal. 56021 is seen with the 6C47 Workington Docks-Carlisle Yard, 92034 passes with the 4M74 Mossend-Wembley, 86242 departs with the 14.40 Edinburgh-Birmingham New Street and having missed the busiest part of the day due to a dud camcorder battery I just managed to coax some life out of it to catch a brief glimpse of 66078 which came down from Carlisle Yard.
