#चांदबावड़ी #Chandbawdi #आभानेरी #दौसा #jaipur This Vlog is based on our visit to Chand Baori Rajasthan(also known as Chand Bawri), which is known to be one of the biggest, oldest and deepest Stepwells of India. Chand Baori stepwell is situated in Abhaneri Village in Dausa District of Rajasthan. Some movies have also been shot here including Chand Baori Dark knight rises scene. Chand Boari Abhaneri Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful stepwells in the world. Located in the eastern part of the Rajasthan state of India, Chand Baori Jaipur was built by King Chanda somewhere in the 9th century. It has 3,500 narrow steps that are arranged in perfect symmetry, which can be seen descending 20m to the bottom of the well. Some people also talk about Chand Baori Haunted story but I personally do not believe in these. A lot of people thing Dhadak movie's song was shot here but it was not a Chand Baori movie. Centuries ago, the stepwells were built in the arid zones of Rajasthan and other dry regions of the country in order to provide water all year through. About 64 feet deep, Chand Baori India is known to be India's largest and deepest stepwells with 13 stories. Chand Baori Dausa Rajasthan inherits its name by the kind Chand Raja as it was built by him from the Gujara Pratihara clan, who claim to be the descendant of Lord Ram's younger brother Laxman. Chand bawri has a precise geometrical pattern which is really hard to find in this age. The steps actually form a magical maze and the consequent play of light and shadow on the structure gives it a captivating look. You can see a enclosed rectangular courtyard kind of structure in it. Upon entering you will also find jharokhas (windows). Descending the stairs on the left, you will be able to see the cavernous baori narrowing towards the bottom, criss-crossed with double flights of steps on 3 sides to reach the water surface at the bottom. The stairs are known to encircle the water on the three sides while the fourth side boasts of a pavillion with 3 storeys with beautiful carved jharokhas, galleries supported on pillars and 2 projecting balconies that enrish beautiful sculptures.
