Pacific Northwest mushrooms are really out this year! Join me mushroom foraging in a mossy hemlock forest where we'll encounter delicious golden chanterelles, the yellowfoot, beautiful violet webcams, king boletes (porcini), chicken of the woods, and so much more! Whether you're right here in Western Washington, or in other parts of Cascadia (Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Northern California or Oregon mushroom hunting) you're likely to be encountering a lot of similar mushrooms popping up in the forests near you. For both the seasoned mycologist and the beginning mushroom forager, I hope these videos serve as a useful way for viewers to keep tabs on the seasonal changes in the world of fungi.
