VEGA-2 boat is a beautiful backwater cruise operated under the Kerala State Water Transport Department. It departs from Alappuzha Boat Jetty every day at 11:00 AM. This 50-kilometer journey, lasting approximately four hours, passes through major scenic spots such as Punnamada, Vembanad Lake, Muhamma, Pathiramanal Island, Kumarakom, and key locations like "R," Marthandam, Chithira, and "C" Blocks. The boat has a capacity of 120 passengers, with 40 air-conditioned seats available at ₹600 and 80 non-air-conditioned seats at ₹400. Passengers also get a 15-minute stopover at Pathiramanal Island.
