The human face is one of the most interesting and beautiful topics I like to spend time with. I often wonder what stories are hidden behind the faces I see in the street or when traveling on a bus, metro, or tram. Gaia is 1 member of the glass-community I have created. About me: I am an emerging glass artist/designer from Hungary (born in 1982). I used to be an economist, worked in Finance for 6.5 years. As I approached the age of 30, it became confusing that my job (my life) was not a real challenge and joy, so I have contacted the company’s psychologist to recover from the situation. After portraying my life at the time at the first encounter as an almost charred tree with a cut-off trunk in a test, it became clear that I needed to make changes. In the fall of 2012, the employee ended. I started to make jewelry but since I wanted to work with glass on a higher-level, I studied for a few years graduated last year (2019) as a glass designer (in the age of 37). The reason why I emphasize my age is because I know several people think it's 'too late' to change. Well, it's not. I had examples to follow and I know my story also inspires some people around me. Maybe you? I hope so. If this happens, then you will inspire others... and this is how the world will become a nicer place. I wish this was as simple as written here :D but no, it's tough:) but at least no more 'every day is the same' - feeling.
