The word Trinity doedn't exist in the scriptures but the concept does exist. There is the Father, Spirit and the voice of God mentioned in Genesis. In John 1, we notice, that as God speaks a living personality is released to go do the command. In Gen 1:6-7, it is evident that the God that spoke, is the God that created what was spoken. (John 1:3) God expresses Himself and His presence through what He says (John 1:2, Heb 4:12). Therefore, as you listen to the Word, you are in contact with the very person of God. In Psalm 29, a personality in ascribed to the voice of God! In the book of John Jesus repeatedly refered to Himself as the God of the Jews and those that believed Him did worship Him as such.
