Diagnosis: Not a Death Sentence became a bit of a passion project for me throughout the past year. A required senior class pointed me in the direction of this project and through the past year I found two kind families who were willing to share their stories so kindly and beautifully with me. The story confronts the question of how we should handle the physical and cognitive disabilities that exist in our world and how we can work to appreciate and acknowledge their purpose and role in our world.
