This video details a bit of the history of the sneaker as well as an on foot look at the sneakers. Definitely one of the highest top sneakers released, and made popular from 2 avenues in the 1990's: David Robinson on the Spurs, and Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) from the movie "White Men Can't Jump". In that movie a couple other sneakers to note were the Nike Flight Lite, and the always popular Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared, which drops again this year for Black Friday. The Command Force was 1 of 3 Nike models with a "pump" feature, the other 2 were the Nike Air Pressure and the Nike Air 180 Command Force. It was a short lived time for the Nike pump, and rumor had it was because of copyright issues since Reebok had the "pump" already. I have also heard that patents only last for 20 years, so maybe that is why we are finally seeing these come back 20 years later?
