Plan Your Utror Valley Trip With Anwar Ul Haq : 0344-9759032 Our journey continues as we descend from Badgoi Pass into one of the most underrated gems of Swat — Utror Valley. This video marks the beginning of Part 2 of our Swat series, right from the starting point of Utror village. This scenic valley is a true hidden paradise filled with waterfalls, alpine meadows, crystal-clear lakes, and rugged mountain passes. As we entered Utror, our first stop was its small yet vibrant bazaar where we enjoyed a refreshing cup of tea and interacted with locals. From there, we began our exploration toward Samarbagh Valley, also known by the locals as Rabbit Waterfall — both names referring to the same hidden treasure within Utror. Utror is not just a village; it’s a gateway to some of the most spectacular natural destinations in Pakistan. From here, you can set off for Kandol Lake, Spinkhor Lake, Shahi Bagh, Shahibagh Waterfall, Maidan Banda, and Kharkhari Lake. It also serves as a base point to cross into Chitral through a high-altitude mountain pass, or reach Dojanga and even Jahaz Banda via challenging yet scenic trails. Located at an elevation of around 2,300 meters (approximately 7,500 feet) above sea level, Utror is surrounded by towering peaks, lush forests, and the melodic sounds of flowing streams. The village has a population of roughly 3,000 to 4,000 residents who are welcoming and deeply rooted in traditional mountain culture. Despite being remote, Utror offers decent facilities for tourists. There are around 7 to 8 small restaurants serving traditional food at very affordable rates. The village also hosts nearly 10 guesthouses and hotels with the capacity to accommodate between 700 to 1,000 people per day during peak season. For nature lovers and hikers, this place is a dream come true. After reaching Samarbagh Valley, we began a short 20 to 25-minute hike through lush green hills, narrow footpaths, and chirping pine forests. At the end of the hike, we witnessed an incredibly powerful and high-pressure waterfall crashing down from the cliffs — a sight that’s hard to describe in words and one that very few tourists have ever seen. After spending a peaceful time in the valley, we returned to Utror for our night stay. Our accommodation was hosted by a very kind man, Anwar ul Haq, who is not only a local teacher by profession but also a reliable tour planner and guide. His hospitality made our stay memorable and stress-free. If you ever plan to visit Utror and need a trustworthy contact for rooms, hiking, or planning your trip, I highly recommend reaching out to Anwar ul Haq at 0344-9759032. This valley is slowly gaining attention and has all the potential to become the next big travel destination in northern Pakistan. If you're looking for nature, peace, and adventure — Utror Valley should be on your list.
