I asked y’all to send in some of your questions (from everything from fiber arts, to designing and on!) so I could put together a little video for y’all every Friday doing my best to answer your questions! In this week’s episode we cover: 1. I just binge-watched your tutorials on brioche. :) I have never tried this technique before but will surely do in the near future. My question to you is: when knitting 2 colour brioche, do the yarns have to be (relatively) the same weight? Thank you! 2. Two totally unrelated questions - I chuckle at the name ‘I’ll knit if I want to’. You mentioned it is the name of your original blog. How did your blog get that name? I love it. I find myself saying, ‘ I’ll knit what I want to’ when I’m CO something new instead of working on current WIPs.😃 And…. I want to become more skillful in brioche- Which shawl pattern would be best for someone with little brioche experience?? Thanks! You mentioned in one of your podcasts that you gave away all your dpns, how do you finish off a hat? Typically it tells you to switch to dpns for the small circumference part near the top of the hat. I am excited to knit your new sweater Illuminate. I have never knitted with mohair before. Are there tips to winding the yarn? Since we are using two strands of mohair do you wind them together, use two balls or pull from the inside and outside? How do you do a gauge swatch with mohair - do I count the spin cycle yarn for gauge or mohair or both and how large of a gauge swatch do you do with mohair since I believe the mohair yarn can’t be used again after you swatch it.
