Lightroom Technique - How to Change a Grey Sky to a Blue Sky

Carsten Arnold shows you how to change a grey sky taken on an overcast day and turn it into a blue sky with some white clouds, all in Lightroom. This video was created in 2016. Now in 2023, Photoshop has had a feature called Sky Replacement for awhile This is now the preferred method of fixing skies in Photoshop. Some of the other post processing applications also use a similar sky replacement technique. However if you don't use these or Photoshop then the Lightroom method I show is one of a few different methods available, and the one that I always preferred using to fix an overcast sky. If you're a professional photographer then you should be charging for this additional service! My minimum rate was a quarter of whatever your equivalent hourly rate comes to.
