Putin India Visit: Russia's Vladimir Putin State Dinner Menu Revealed | PM Modi | President Murmu Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his two-day visit to India, was treated to a grand and entirely vegetarian culinary experience at the state dinner hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The menu, served on a traditional Indian thali, showcased the depth and diversity of India’s regional cuisines. Inside Putin’s Lavish Vegetarian State Dinner The evening began with Murungelai Chaaru, a South Indian-style rasam which was warm, aromatic and perfect as a starter. This was followed by a trio of appetisers representing India’s culinary map: Gucchi Doon Chetin, the prized Kashmiri morel stuffed with walnut chutney… Kaale Chane Ke Shikampuri* , soft pan-grilled kebabs made from black gram… Vegetable Jhol Momo with a spicy Himalayan chutney, a nod to India’s eastern mountain flavours. The main course brought together rich vegetarian delicacies: Zafrani Paneer Roll Paalak Methi Mattar Ka Saag Tandoori Bharwan Aloo Achaari Baingan Yellow Dal Tadka Indian breads, from Laccha Parantha and Magaz Naan to Satanaj Roti, Missi Roti and the crisp Biscuity Roti . Desserts added a royal finis, Badam Ka Halwa, Kesar-Pista Kulfi , and fresh seasonal fruits, accompanied by Gur Sandesh, Murakku and a spread of pickles and salads.
