This is the Vintage bus collection of the Transit Museum Society, Vancouver B.C. The Transit Museum Society of Vancouver, British Columbia was established in 1986 to document and preserve our province’s transit heritage. We restore and operate vehicles significant to the history of public transit in British Columbia. The list of buses in the collection as of May 2022 1937 Hayes - Anderson Teardrop. Oldest running bus in BC #63 1947 Fageol Twin Coach. Model 41S #M852 1947 Canadian Car & Foundry Brill Trolley Bus. Model T-44 #2040 1954 Canadian Car & Foundry Brill Trolley Bus. Model T-48A #2416 1957 Canadian Car & Foundry Brill. Model CD-52A (Last two running examples) #3405 and #3405 1957 General Motors Oldlook. Model TDH-4512 Rolling Museum #730 1959 General Motors Oldlook. Model TDH-4512 Non-running in need of restoration. Obtained December 2018 #678 1964 General Motors Newlook. Model TDH-4519 Fishbowl #4612 1976 Flyer. Model E800. #2649 Converted from electric to diesel in the late 80's 1983 Flyer Trolleybus. Model E902A. #2805 This bus was vandalized while in storage offsite and may never run again. Now used as an office. 1982 Flyer. Model D902A #3334 1982 General Motors. Model T6H-5307N Fishbowl (Hillclimber variant) #4107 1990 Motor Coach Industries. (Classic) Model TC-40102 #4276 1991 New Flyer Industries. Model D40 #3106 1996 New Flyer Industries. Model D40LF #9753 These clips were taken by me since 2008 and some are not as clear as others depending on the available video equipment.
