This weekend i didn't have to much time to make a long video, but i made this small scene and give you a short tip on how to render with Depth of Field in Mental Ray. Scene Setup: 1 Box as the room with the faces flipped 1000 boxes as the wall created with the array tool and then modified by a max script that i wrote like this : for cube in selection do cube.pos.Y += random -3 3 3 Teapots with 32 segments 5 Free Photo-metric lights 3 of them setup as spotlights with a disc area setting and a low kelvin to give a warm color, the 2 other lights are Sphere area lights with a high brightness and a high kelvin to give a more white\blue light The materials are all Arch and Design materials, the gray wall material is an arch and design material with an Ambient Reflective Occlusion shader in the defuse slot. the wood material is just a standard wood material from the A&D drop down list and so is the Brushed metal
